The hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff of Richard Fossum, DDS are kind, caring, and passionate about their work. They’re happy to speak with you regarding future treatments, financing options, dental insurance, and any other concerns you may have during your time with us. Debra, Dental Hygienist

Debra’s career in dentistry spans an impressive 30+ years, having been part of our team for 16 of those years and counting. She attended dental hygiene school in El Paso, TX.

Debra and her husband Keith have two Maltese dogs. When they get the chance, they like camping in their RV. Debra also enjoys shopping and reading biographies.

Robyn, Dental Hygienist

Robyn started at our dental office in 2021, and she deeply enjoys getting to know so many different types of people through her job and helping them improve their oral health. She is a graduate of the Texas A&M College of Dentistry. She and her husband like to shop, travel, and walk their dog, Nestle, together. Robyn loves anything that has to do with Disney and has visited Walt Disney World more than five times!

Nora, Dental Hygienist

From Angels Camp, CA, Nora has been in dentistry since 1979 working as a dental assistant, receptionist, accounts/insurance manager, and Registered Dental Hygienist. She studied at Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Dentistry, and is certified in laser dentistry. She loves to help improve patients’ quality of life and make a positive difference in her community.

When she isn’t at the office, Nora enjoys being with her husband and spending time with friends and family. She also likes sewing, gardening, refurbishing furniture, and going to the beach.

Heather, Dental Hygienist

Heather has been working as a dental hygienist for well over two decades and loves what she does. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree at Idaho State University as well as her certification in dental hygiene. Today, she enjoys building relationships with her patients and making them feel comfortable while getting their dental work done.

If she isn’t at the office, Heather is likely spending time with family and loved ones. She also enjoys crafting, sewing, swimming, reading, and listening to music. One fun fact about her: she sang in a women’s acapella quartet for 8 years performing regularly at church events!

Brenda, Business Assistant

Brenda’s career in dentistry spans more than three decades so far, with nearly 20 of those years spent at our dental office. She’s passionate about assisting our patients, whether that’s by getting them out of pain or helping them achieve their best smiles. She studied at Temple Junior College and the Texas State Technical College.

Brenda has been married for 30 years and has two sons, one daughter-in-law, two grandchildren, and four bonus grandchildren. Aside from working at our dental office, Brenda also manages a dance hall and bar. She likes to spend what little free time she has on scrapbooking and piecing quilts. An interesting fact about Brenda is that when she was four years old, she was attacked by a mountain lion and survived!

Lynn, Business Assistant

For the entirety of her dental career (which spans 12 years so far), Lynn has been a dedicated member of our team. She loves seeing patients who have struggled with dental fears transform into patients who are excited to come to their next visits!

Lynn lives on a cattle ranch in Jarrell, TX with her husband Byron. They have three grown children – Ryan, Austin, and Cassidy – as well as three cow dogs – Murphy, Shiner, and Poncho. As a sports enthusiast, Lynn enjoys baseball, softball, and football (she LOVES Texas A&M!). She also served in the Navy for four years and has traveled all over Europe.

Lisa, Business Assistant

Lisa has been working in the field of dentistry for over a decade in both medical front offices and periodontal offices. Born in Yellowstone County and raised in Brownwood, TX, she graduated from college in 1991 and achieved certifications in both Basic Life Support and Registered Dental Assistant. She loves meeting new people and helping their experience in the office to be as comfortable as possible. Outside the office, she loves being with her family and enjoying hobbies like gardening, fishing, BBQing, listening to music, and going to concerts!

Caitlin, Registered Dental Assistant

Caitlin has been practicing as a Registered Dental Assistant for several years and counting. She studied at the University of Texas Health and Science Center at San Antonio and earned her certification in nitrous oxide, CPR, and Basic Life Support.

From Fort Drum, NY, Caitlin enjoys spending time with her sweet and compassionate family. Other than reading and creating memories with her son, she also likes collecting antique hardcover books!

Jennifer L., Registered Dental Assistant

Jennifer has been helping patients in general, orthodontic, and periodontic dentistry since 1992. Her favorite part of her job is having the chance to change someone’s life for the better. Born and raised in Belton, she enjoys helping others as well as being with her family and loved ones. At home, she likes doing yard work, crafting, collecting items, and hunting.

Jenna, Registered Dental Assistant

A native of Salado, TX, Jenna loves helping people to love their smiles again. After graduating from high school, she went to study at Temple Dental Assisting School, earning certifications in coronal polishing, sealants, and nitrous oxide. Outside of the office, she spends much of her time with her husband and their two children. Other than being with family, she also enjoys shopping and getting her nails beautified!

Jennifer H., Registered Dental Assistant

Originating from Austin and Houston, Jennifer has over a decade of experience as a dental assistant. She studied Financial Services before attending the Training Center for Healthcare Careers. There, she earned advanced certifications in various areas such as Basic Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, nitrous oxide, coronal polishing, and sealants. If you don’t find her at the office, she’s likely spending time with family, reading, crocheting, or watching HGTV. She also loves being outdoors and doing fun things like camping under the night sky.

Aspen, Registered Dental Assistant

From Little River Academy, TX, Aspen has been in the dental field for over a decade. Graduating from Academy High School, she went on to study at Temple College for her Associate degree in Art before attending Everest College in Colorado Springs for dental assisting. The best part of her job: helping others improve their oral and overall well-being.

At home, Aspen loves being with her family and friends, hanging out with her dog, and hunting with her dad and brother. She finds spin class to be incredibly fun!
