Meet Dr. Fossum
Dr. Richard F. Fossum enjoys creating beautiful, healthy smiles that last a lifetime. He’s a caring and compassionate general and restorative dentist who uses proven therapies and modern technology to deliver clinically excellent care with a personal touch.
Education
Dr. Fossum attended the University of Texas in Austin and graduated from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston in 1995. He practiced dentistry in Albuquerque, New Mexico from 1995 to 1999 before moving to Temple.
An avid learner, Dr. Fossum takes numerous hours of continuing education each year to stay current with new procedures, technology, and safety standards. He constantly evaluates new equipment and spares no expense to implement tools and technologies that increase patient comfort and provide innovative dental solutions.
Professional Affiliations
He is a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Central Texas Dental Society, International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and Mid-America Orthodontic Society.
Personal Life
Dr. Fossum and his wife, Gayla, have four young children and are active in the community. In his spare time, Dr. Fossum utilizes his pilot’s license and likes to fly remote-controlled helicopters and play video games with his kids.
